ISLAMABAD: The uncertainty surrounding the remaining fixtures of PSL 10 may soon be resolved, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has begun preliminary preparations to finalise the schedule, though a definitive timeline is yet to be announced.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Pakistan Super League, Salman Naseer, has contacted franchise representatives to obtain updates regarding the current whereabouts and availability of their players, according to the local media.
The PCB’s immediate priority is to assess logistical considerations and ensure that key players are available for the resumption of the competition.
Naseer has officially requested all six PSL teams to submit updated reports on player availability.
Remaining fixtures
This measure is considered vital for planning the remaining fixtures, which were previously postponed due to heightened cross-border tensions between Pakistan and India.
Although tensions have eased following a ceasefire agreement on Saturday and behind-the-scenes efforts are ongoing, a revised PSL 10 schedule has yet to be issued.
A final decision is expected once complete player status reports have been received from all franchises.
The remaining eight matches will be scheduled with awareness of international series windows to avoid further scheduling conflicts.
The final approval will be granted by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi once a feasible timeline has been established.
