RAWALPINDI: Rilee Rossouw and Hasan Nawaz’s explosive centuries powered Quetta Gladiators to a record 109-run victory over defending champions Islamabad United in the 26th match of PSL 10 at Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
Batting first, Gladiators piled up a massive 263/3, thanks to a 134-run stand between Rossouw and Nawaz.
Despite a shaky start, with Finn Allen run out early and Saud Shakeel departing for 23, Rossouw’s 46-ball 104, including 20 boundaries and six sixes, turned the tide.
Nawaz remained unbeaten on 100 from just 45 balls, hitting nine fours and four sixes. He later shared a 69-run partnership with Mark Chapman (13*).

United’s decision to bowl first backfired badly. In response, they were bowled out for 154 in 19.3 overs.
Mohammad Amir set the tone early by removing both openers—Kyle Mayers (0) and Sahibzada Farhan (1)—in the first over.
Tumbling wickets
Muhammad Shahzad (24 off 13) showed brief resistance, but wickets kept tumbling.

Imad Wasim, batting at number nine, top-scored with a valiant 56 from 41 balls, including five fours and two sixes, sharing a 55-run stand with Ben Dwarshuis (31). However, the rest of the batting order collapsed under pressure.
Amir was the standout bowler with 2/6 in two overs. Mohammad Wasim Jr and Abrar Ahmed also claimed two wickets each, while Faheem Ashraf, Khurram Shahzad, and Saud Shakeel chipped in with one each.
This dominant win handed Islamabad United their fourth consecutive defeat after starting the tournament with five wins.
