PSL 10: Lahore Qalandars Win USD 500,000, Gladiators Bag USD 200,00

LAHORE, Pakistan: Lahore Qalandars triumphed in the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, claiming their third championship title along with a substantial prize of USD 500,000 (over PKR 140 million).

In a thrilling finale held in Lahore on Sunday, the Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by six wickets, concluding a dramatic season with yet another title win.

With this victory, Lahore not only lifted the PSL trophy for the third time but also secured the top cash award, while the Gladiators, as runners-up, received USD 200,000 (approximately PKR 56 million).

Quetta Gladiators’ middle-order batter Hasan Nawaz was named Player of the Tournament at the PSL 10 awards ceremony following the final.

The young star was also recognised as the Best Batter of the Tournament for his consistent and explosive performances.

Islamabad United opener Sahibzada Farhan was awarded the Hanif Mohammad Cap for finishing as the tournament’s highest run-scorer.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, captain of the three-time champions Lahore Qalandars, received the Fazal Mahmood Cap for taking the most wickets in the tournament.

Faheem Ashraf, the all-rounder from the Gladiators, was honoured as the Best All-Rounder for his impactful performances with both bat and ball.

Lahore Qalandars’ promising talent Mohammad Naeem was named Emerging Player of the Tournament.

Mohammad Haris, the wicketkeeper-batter from Peshawar Zalmi, was awarded Best Wicketkeeper of the Tournament.

Zalmi’s Abdul Samad was recognised as the Best Fielder of the Tournament after taking nine catches in just five matches.

The Player of the Final accolade went to Sri Lankan star Kusal Perera for his decisive performance in the title match.

Peshawar Zalmi also received the Spirit of Cricket Award in recognition of their exemplary sportsmanship throughout the competition.
