MADINAH: More than 40 million worshippers visited the Prophet’s Mosque during this year’s Hajj season, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque stated.
According to Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, a total of 40,103,344 worshippers were recorded from Dhu Al-Qi’dah 1 to Dhu Al-Hijjah 29, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
The ongoing efforts of the Saudi government to facilitate visitor reception enabled them to perform their rituals in a secure and tranquil environment.
The authority stressed its commitment to enhancing services within the Prophet’s Mosque and its courtyards to meet the needs of worshippers and improve the overall religious experience for all visitors.
