ISLAMABAD: Once again, posters bearing messages of solidarity with Pakistan and calls for freedom have emerged in Srinagar and other areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, ahead of Pakistan Day on March 23.
According to Kashmir Media Service, these posters were displayed by various pro-freedom parties including APHC, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement, Justice and Peace Initiative, Nawjawanan-e-Hurriyet Jammu Kashmir, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Movement, Warseen Shuda, Jammu Kashmir Peoples Resistance Party, Jammu Kashmir Students Youth Forum, and Freedom Lovers.
The posters prominently feature the famous slogan coined by the late Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani, “Hum Pakistani Hain, Pakistan Hamara Hai” (We are Pakistanis, Pakistan is ours), along with images of Pakistan’s founding fathers including Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, and Liaqat Ali Khan, as well as Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir.
They also convey strong messages demanding an end to Indian occupation, with slogans like “Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan”, “Go India Go Back”, and “Jammu and Kashmir is part of Pakistan.”
Highlighting the oppressive military presence in Kashmir, the posters express Kashmiris’ unwavering commitment to achieving freedom from Indian occupation and their right to self-determination.
The dissemination of these messages extends to social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, amplifying the voices of Kashmiris demanding justice and freedom.
