ADEN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) have started a new phase of the voluntary medical program at the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Yemen’s Aden Governorate, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.

The new phase of the program is an extension of the voluntary medical program that started in April. The program encompasses paediatric cardiac surgery, catheterization, and ear, nose, and throat specialities.

The project is dedicated to reducing the humanitarian need in all Yemeni governorates by providing services in a variety of specialities, including neurosurgery, plastic surgery, burns, and deformities.

The total number of medical visits to the hospital exceeded 1.5 million from January 2023 to August 2024. The facility is built over 20,000 square meters with 270 beds, 14 speciality clinics, and a heart center, all of which are equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices and equipment
