UK’s Prince Harry Admits Killing 25 People in Afghanistan

LONDON: UK’s Prince Harry has admitted that he had killed twenty-five people in Afghanistan, British media reported on Thursday. He admitted the killing of 25 people in Afghanistan in his autobiography which will be published soon. 

The 38-year-old Prince served two trips of duty against the Afghan Taliban, first as a forward air controller calling in strikes in 2007-08, then flying the helicopter in 2012-13.

In the book “Spare”, he said that he undertook 6 missions as a pilot that led to him taking the lives of humans, the Daily Telegraph reported. UK’s Prince Harry said he was neither ashamed or proud of doing so and described eradicating the targets as like removing “chess pieces” from a board.

He served for ten-year in the British Army, rising to the rank of captain, and had described his time in the army as his significant years. His first tour was conducted under a strict news blackout due to security reasons. However, he was forced to go back the UK when a foreign media outlet broke the embargo.
