ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has landed in Turkiye on a two-day official visit.
PM Shehbaz Sharif was received by Istanbul’s deputy governor, military officials, and the Pakistani Embassy officials at the Istanbul International Airport.
The prime minister is on a two-day official visit to Turkey at the invitation of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the Foreign Office, President Erdogan and PM Shehbaz Sharif will jointly launch the third of the four MILGEM Corvette Ships for the Pakistan Navy, PNS Khaibar, at the Istanbul Shipyard. PM Shehbaz and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will jointly attend the launch event in Istanbul.
Both leaders will also hold wide-ranging discussions encompassing bilateral relations, the regional situation, and other issues of common interest, read the statement.
