Prime Minister’s Encouragement to Ikramullah: A Symbol of Hope for Education

ISLAMABAD: Ikramullah, a student from Qila Saifullah Balochistan, had the privilege of meeting Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House, marking a significant moment in his educational journey.

During their meeting, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif warmly welcomed Ikramullah, recalling their previous encounter in the relief tent of Khasnoob during the devastating floods of 2022. At that time, Ikramullah’s family had been severely affected by the calamity.

Expressing his concern over the lack of educational opportunities, Ikramullah shared his aspirations to pursue higher education with the Prime Minister. Moved by Ikramullah’s determination, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif commended his resilience and eagerness to excel.

In a gesture of support, the Prime Minister gifted Ikramullah a pen and a tablet, personally hoping that these tools would aid him in his educational pursuits. Ikramullah, in turn, expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister, recognizing this initiative as a life-changing opportunity.

Reflecting on the importance of education, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif emphasized its transformative power in shaping the destiny of the nation. He shared his vision of introducing scholarship schemes to empower students at both the provincial and federal levels.

Also present during the meeting were the Principal and Housemaster of Lawrence College, where Ikramullah is currently enrolled as a 9th standard student.
