ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has made an urgent appeal to the public, especially the affluent, to donate generously to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to support Gaza and Lebanon during their current humanitarian crisis. Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, the premier emphasized that both local citizens and overseas Pakistanis should contribute to aid efforts, encouraging donations to IBAN: PK11SBPD000000111111429.

Shehbaz Sharif instructed officials to launch a widespread awareness campaign about the relief fund and directed the immediate dispatch of two planes carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon. In addition to air transport, he urged sending relief goods via trucks, ensuring that aid reaches those most in need.

The meeting was informed that Pakistan is sending essential supplies, including tents, blankets, medicines, food, and clothing, to those affected by Israeli aggression. However, it was also noted that Israeli blockades are creating significant challenges in delivering aid to affected areas.

Additionally, the government will facilitate NGOs wishing to send relief to victims in Gaza and Lebanon, helping to ensure much-needed assistance reaches these regions.
