LONDON: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan of being a “liar from head to toe”, local media reported on Sunday.
The Prime Minister’s comments came following his meeting with Scottish First Minister Hamza Yusuf in London. Shehbaz Sharif said that his government was planning an investment conference in the country. He added that the conference would address educational, trade, and technical education cooperation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also addressed the allegations levelled by PTI, adding that they were based on lies. The PM claimed that the previous PTI government had tried to collect evidence against him in foreign countries, including New Zealand. However, his acquittal in the case was a win for the entire country, and the matter had only increased his respect.
Felicitating the First Minister of Scotland on his election to this significant position, the PM observed that Hamza Yousaf’s election underlined the significant and positive contribution of the British Pakistani community to the development and progress of Scotland and across the UK. He wished him success in the discharge of his duties. The two sides agreed to further strengthen historic relations between Scotland and Pakistan, including in the domains of trade, education, investment, water management, wind and solar technology as well as people to people contact.
