President Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Extend Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the nation and the Muslim Ummah, urging compassion and generosity towards the less fortunate.

President Zardari’s message emphasized prayers for blessings, happiness, peace, and security for everyone on this auspicious day. He highlighted Eid-ul-Fitr as a symbol of national determination to overcome challenges, extend help to the needy, and strive for a bright and prosperous future. Zardari emphasized unity, brotherhood, tolerance, social and economic justice, and solidarity to strengthen the nation.

President Zardari expressed solidarity with oppressed Muslims in Gaza and Palestine, condemning Israel’s oppression and calling for immediate peace and international assistance for Palestinians. He also reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, advocating for their rights under UN resolutions.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the spiritual significance of Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan—a month of blessings, forgiveness, and resilience. He stressed the values of solidarity, compassion, and harmony, urging the nation to support the less fortunate during this celebratory occasion.

Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to martyrs and veterans, recognizing their sacrifices for national peace and security. He called for remembrance of Palestinians and Kashmiris facing oppression, urging prayers for their relief.

The leaders’ messages underscored the importance of unity, compassion, and support for those in need during Eid-ul-Fitr.
