ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi on Friday urged foreign investors to benefit from Pakistan’s pro-investment policies as it offered an investment-friendly environment.
The president, talking to the Chinese Company Easyway Innovation Technology Company Ltd’s delegation here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, said the development of the information technology sector was one of its main priorities of Pakistan.
He said foreign entrepreneurs should invest in the important sector of IT, which had great potential to grow.
He said the Special Technology Zones Authority offered multiple incentives, including a ten-year tax exemption for the enterprises, and the Chinese IT firms should capitalize on those opportunities.
Easyway’s investment
The Easyway CEO briefed President Alvi about the role of his company in providing IT services and industry solutions.
He underlined that Easyway provided integrated solutions and software development for smart transportation, logistics and other fields.
He said his firm had developed an e-ticking system for Pakistan Railways to further enhance its efficiency.
