ASTANA, Kazakhstan: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is scheduled to embark on a state visit to the State of Qatar from Tuesday, according to reports from the Akorda press service as cited by Kazinform News Agency.
During his visit, President Tokayev is expected to engage in discussions with Amir of the State of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdurahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
As part of the diplomatic engagements, the Head of State will participate in the Kazakhstan-Qatar Investment Roundtable, aimed at exploring avenues for enhancing economic collaboration between the two nations. Additionally, President Tokayev will convene meetings with prominent figures from the Qatari business community, fostering dialogue and potential partnerships.
The state visit underscores Kazakhstan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Qatar, with a focus on advancing cooperation in various spheres for the mutual benefit of both countries.
