ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed grief and sorrow over the passing away of famous legendary actor and comedian Ismail Tara, who breathed his last yesterday.
President Alvi also paid tribute to the services and work of Ismail Tara in the field of acting and comedy. Dr Alvi said Tara with his remarkable performance in comedy and acting, became the source of smiles and joys for the television and film audience. President also prayed for the departed soul of Tara to rest in peace and prayed for the grant of patience to the bereaved family of legendary departed actor.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Ismail Tara. Shahbaz Sharif paid tribute to the late legendary, saying Tara transformed the art of comedy with his unique style and acting skills. Prime Minister also said that film and television viewers will never forget the lasting impressions and unique acting of Tara’s comedy, especially his acting and comedy in Pakistan Television’s (PTV) comedy-drama series ‘Fifty-Fifty’.
Prime Minister Sharif also prayed for the departed soul of Tara for his soul to rest in peace and grant of courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
