President of Kyrgyzstan Leaves for US to Attend UNGA Session

BISHKEK:  President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has left for New York to attend in the events of the High-Level Week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).

President Sadyr Japarov will participate in the work of the Summit of the Future and also speak at the General Debate of the UN General Assembly (UNGA).

Local media reported that a number of bilateral meetings will also be held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, including with UN Chief Antonio Guterres.

The official delegation of the central Asian country includes Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev;  Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the United States Baktybek Amanbaev; Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan to the UN Aida Kasymalieva and other top officials.
