TASHKENT, Uzbekistan: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has given his nod to a protocol outlining amendments to the agreement between Uzbekistan and the Swiss Federal Council on international road transportation of passengers and cargo.
Additionally, he has greenlit adjustments to the protocol governing the application process of this agreement. These crucial documents were ratified through a presidential decree titled “On Approval of International Agreement.”
The initial agreement was inked on April 3, 2002, followed by supplementary protocols on June 23, 2023, in Tashkent. Designating the Ministry of Transport as the competent authority responsible for enforcing the international treaty, President Mirziyoyev has demonstrated Uzbekistan’s commitment to facilitating efficient and seamless transportation connections with Switzerland.
