ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi on Friday extended felicitations to his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on the national day of France.
In a letter to his counterpart, President Alvi wrote that Pakistan and France enjoyed cordial ties marked by mutual trust, shared views, and close cooperation in multilateral fora.
Referring to the Roadmap for Bilateral Cooperation (RBC) inked in February this year, he said that it would help expand the multifaceted cooperation in fields such as trade, education, climate change, people-to-people contacts, and energy transition.
President hopeful for consolidated bilateral ties
He expressed confidence that under the dynamic leadership of President Macron, France would take the bilateral ties with Pakistan to a higher level for the mutual benefit of the two nations.
The president conveyed his best wishes for the good health and happiness of Macron and the continued progress and prosperity of the people of France.
