ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi has conferred the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (military) awards on the Army Chief of Pakistan General Syed Asim Muneer and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, today at a special investiture ceremony held at President House, Islamabad.

The medal-giving ceremony started with the recitation of Holy Quran that was held at the President House Islamabad on Thursday. The Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Ministers, Speaker National Assembly and Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani were also present in the ceremony.
President Alvi wished good luck to Army Chief and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee for their future endeavours. Journalists and senior bureaucrats were also present on the occasion. Brilliant career highlights of both the recipients of Military Awards was also presented to the participants.
