ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi on Saturday extended his condolences to the bereaved families of the security personnel who embraced shahadat during the terrorists’ attack in Bannu during a telephonic conversation.
The President held separate conversations with the grieving family members of Shaheed Sepoy Saeed Ahmed and Shaheed Subedar Major Khursheed Ahmed.
Bannu, Miran Shah attacks martyrs
A press release issued by the President’s Secretariat stated that the President also talked with the father of Naik Abid, who embraced shahadat in a Miran Shah, North Waziristan suicide attack on the 19th of December, and expressed his condolences.
The President paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices of the security personnel for laying down their lives for the motherland, expressed his sympathies with grieved families, and prayed for them to bear the losses.
