ISLAMABAD: Given the current economic challenges, President Asif Ali Zardari has decided that he will not draw his presidential salary.
A press release issued on Tuesday by the President House highlighted that this decision was made to promote responsible financial governance within the country.
President Zardari deemed it important not to add strain to the national treasury and chose to waive his salary as a demonstration of fiscal prudence.
