President Arif Alvi Pays Tribute to Martyred Soldiers

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Arif Alvi, on Monday, phoned the families of the troops martyred in various incidents in the line of their duties.

The President Dr. Alvi, spoke to the relatives of Sepoy Nasir Khan and Havaldar Muhammad Amir, who embraced martyrdom in suicide attacks on 4 December in North Waziristan and 14 December in Miranshah, respectively.

The president also talked to the relatives of Havaldar Muhammad Changez Chughtai and Naib Subedar Qasim Khan, who sacrificed their lives on 26 November in a terrorist attack in Lakki Marwat.

He telephoned the father of Havaldar Parosh Khan who lost his life in North Waziristan on 30 November.

President Arif Alvi paid tribute to the martyred soldiers for rendering huge sacrifices for the soil.

He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant patience to the bereaved families.
