ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi appointed Justice Iqbal Hameed as Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court for a three-year term on Tuesday.
According to the President’s House, the president approved the appointment in accordance with Article 175(A)-13 of the Pakistani Constitution.
Justice Iqbal Hameed is a former Supreme Court of Pakistan justice.
