ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi on Wednesday called the family members of the Pakistan Army brave soldiers who embraced martyrdom in Dir Duni, North Waziristan on 4 May, and expressed sympathies with them.
He talked to the relatives of martyred Havaldar Naek Javed and Saleem, Sepoy Syed Rajjab, Bismillah Han, and Hazrat Bilal. He prayed to Almighty Allah for the courage to bear this irreparable loss.
President Alvi saluted the martyrs for their utmost devotion to their country and commitment to their duties.
President pays tribute
Paying tributes to the services and great sacrifices of the martyrs for their homeland, he thanked their families on behalf of the nation.
He also prayed for the elevated ranks of the departed souls in paradise.
