KARACHI: Asif Ali Zardari, the President of the Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians and a former President honored the innocent martyrs of the December 16, 2009, the APS tragedy with a rich tribute on Saturday.
He said, “The blood of these innocent martyrs will not be allowed to go in vain, and the war against terrorism will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.” Asif Ali Zardari said in his message on the anniversary of the APS tragedy, “APS tragedy can never be forgotten.”

He stated that during her lifetime, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had identified these terrorists and labeled them as adversaries of the country and peace.
The former President highlighted the Swat operation as an illustration of effectively eliminating such terrorists. He commended the courage of the Army and Police officers and soldiers, emphasizing their sacrifices for the peace and security of the nation.
“There will be justice with the blood of these martyrs,” he added. —APP
