PPP Ready to Face Any Coalition in 2024 General Elections: Asif Zardari

GHOTKI: Former President and Co-Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari, reacted to the electoral alliance between the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) in Sindh, stating that his party is prepared to face any coalition in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

Speaking at a public gathering in Ghotki, a city in northern Sindh province that his party governed for 15 consecutive years, Zardari welcomed the PML-N and MQM-P alliance.

Zardari attributed the removal of PTI chief Imran Khan from the Prime Minister’s House to his perceived failure in effectively serving the masses.

Regarding the repatriation of illegal Afghan residents in Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari expressed a desire for Afghan brothers, sisters, and children to return to their homeland. He emphasized the importance of planning for the future of the next generation, highlighting the financial strain on Islamabad.

Former President Lauds Sindh’s 15-Year PPP Rule

While discussing the achievements of the previous PPP government in Sindh, the PPP leader underscored the creation of employment opportunities for the province’s youth and the implementation of numerous development initiatives aimed at improving the region’s conditions.

Zardari also emphasized the significant revenue potential from the sea, estimating a possible income of $5 to $6 billion.

Additionally, Asif Ali Zardari lamented the incumbent government of Pakistan for not taking more robust measures to support the war-affected people of Palestine.
