KASHMIR: Posters encouraging the G-20 nations to boycott the summit in the internationally recognized disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir, hosted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi-, have appeared in Srinagar and other areas.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference put up posters on walls, pillars, and poles urging the G-20 nations to understand the Modi regime’s hidden agenda in holding the meeting in IIOJK to hide its crimes in the occupied valley and legitimise its unlawful actions of August 5, 2019, according to Kashmir Media Service.
They asked these nations to pay attention to India’s persistent denial of the Kashmiris’ UN Security Council-recognized right to self-determination. The posters urged the UN to uphold its obligations from more than 70 years ago and to pressure India to resolve the unresolved Kashmir conflict per UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. The posters were also published on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. APP
