ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s capital Islamabad witnessed rain from the early hours of 16 March (Thursday). The rainfall comes after a warm spell of weather conditions, which had led to dusty skies.
As a result of the pleasant conditions, the residents of the capital could be seen enjoying at the city’s various picnic spots.
Natural beauty of Islamabad enhanced
Similarly, nature itself turned beautiful, with flowers blooming brightly and the pristine Margalla Hills giving an inviting look.
Meanwhile, the National Highways and Motorways Police (NHMP) cautioned drivers to ensure their safety during driving in rainy weather conditions.
An official of NHMP while speaking to APP said, heavy rain was expected across most parts of the country from 16-20 March. The region’s hilly areas are also likely to witness landslides and in such conditions, motorists are urged to take extra precautionary measures while driving.
