SARGODHA, Pakistan: In a targeted crackdown, law enforcement authorities successfully apprehended 14 criminals and seized a significant cache of weapons and narcotics during a police operation conducted on Wednesday.
The operation, carried out in various localities, resulted in the arrest of individuals identified as Ahmed, Imran, Shahaan, Shmus, Tahir, Akram, Suleman, Rehman, Kamran, Waqar, Aslam, Nouman, Wasim, and Shoiab. The detainees were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in criminal activities.
During the operation, the police recovered a substantial quantity of illicit substances, including 2.3 kilograms of hashish and 1.1 kilograms of heroin. Additionally, the authorities seized a significant amount of contraband, including 876 liters of liquor.
The crackdown also yielded a considerable arsenal of weapons, comprising 195 rounds of ammunition, 12 revolvers, nine pistols, and four guns. Alongside the weapons, the police secured various valuables believed to be associated with criminal activities.
The successful operation underscores the commitment of the police to maintain law and order, curb illegal activities, and ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
