ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of the Republic of Poland hosted an event titled “Polish Water Technologies” during the Pak Water & Energy Expo in Lahore.
The event brought together a significant number of participants, including representatives from Polish companies and renowned Pakistani experts with extensive experience in water management and environmental issues.
In his opening speech, Poland Ambassador to Pakistan Maciej Pisarski, provided an overview of the participating Polish companies and discussed persistent water-related challenges, such as flooding and water pollution. He highlighted the potential for Polish firms to introduce innovative solutions to Pakistan’s water infrastructure and systems.
The Polish companies, including Symbiona, Pietrucha, Meliorex, and Nanoseen, actively engaged in discussions and shared their insights on Pakistan’s water conditions and their potential impact on the environment.
Guest speakers at the event included Water and Climate Governance Specialist Dr. Fazilda Nabeel, Dr. Azeem Ali Shah from the International Water Management Institute, and Syed Zahid Aziz, CEO of AAB-E-PAK Authority. They provided valuable insights into the current water situation in Pakistan and discussed how Polish technologies could revolutionize the country’s water industry.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, allowing participants to interact with the speakers and representatives from the Polish companies.
