ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Ayub Jamali, Director General of Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), Wednesday said new talent would be hunted and developed by organizing more cultural festivals and events.
The recently-appointed Director General of PNCA told APP that art had the power to break down barriers and unite people while recognizing their diverse cultural heritage. He said, “PNCA is a national-level cultural department that seeks to foster artistic activity and concentrates on all types of art, such as performing and visual arts.
He declared that the PNCA would prioritize promoting the arts and cultures of all four provinces to advance the actual image of Pakistan. He stated that the PNCA management was committed to showcasing the national culture and legacy of the nation and that the council worked to create an atmosphere that would encourage the development of accessible, widely appreciated arts. In addition, he added, it sought to strengthen connections with other cultural organizations nationwide to promote arts, culture, heritage, and the arts.
According to Ayub Jamali, PNCA is committed to promoting Pakistani art domestically and abroad. He continued, “We reflect upon the quality and cultural diversity of the country as well as assist the professional growth of the artists through our elevated and distinct programs that offer classic and contemporary art practices. According to Ayub Jamali, PNCA has continued to host a variety of regionally oriented visual arts shows with both worldwide and nationally renowned artists. —APP
