LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid’s Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif birthday celebration was held in constituency NA 119 on Monday.
PML-N women members participated in the ceremony arranged by PML-N nominated MPA Kanwal Liaqat.
Speaking on the occasion, Kanawal Liaqat said that with the grace of Allah Almighty and under the dynamic leadership of three-time former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the country would start the journey of development once again.
Kanawal said that she was thankful to the party leadership that it had reposed confidence in her for the upcoming elections.
Party workers raised slogans in favor of their Quaid Nawaz Sharif, and a cake-cutting ceremony was also held.
PML-N’s Election Preparations
It is to be noted that PML-N has kickstarted the election preparations as party supremo Nawaz Sharif and Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Sunday submitted nomination papers from different constituencies for the upcoming polls.
PML-N leader Bilal Yasin filed the nomination papers on behalf of Nawaz Sharif from NA-130 (Lahore-XIV), while Maryam Nawaz filed her papers for two National Assembly (NA-119 and NA-120) constituencies.
Maryam Nawaz also submitted nomination papers from four constituencies of the Punjab Assembly — PP-80, PP-159, PP-160, and PP-165.
