PML-N Asks Candidates to Submit Applications for Party Tickets

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Punjab chapter on Thursday sought applications for tickets from the aspirant party candidates for the upcoming elections for the Punjab assembly.

Prime Minister and party president Shehbaz Sharif directed the respective parliamentary boards in both Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provinces to finalize the candidates’ lists. He directed the candidates in Punjab to submit their nominations papers before 14 March deadline announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

“PML-N is the name of public service, prepare yourself for the elections”, he advised his party candidates in a statement, adding, “We have always overcome difficulties and we will again resolve all the problems faced by the country,” he said.

PML-N’s achievements

While highlighting the achievements of the party, Sharif said that PML-N government always created opportunities for youth in the fields of education, health, and employment. It provided laptops and offered scholarships to the youth, and will continue the policies necessary for the progress and prosperity of the country, he added.

The ticket aspirants have been directed to submit the applications at the central secretariat in Model Town Lahore.
