Chilling Cold Temp Prevails With Gilgit -3, Murre 0 and Islamabad 3, No Rains in Upper Parts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: In the upper regions of the country, predominantly cold and dry conditions are anticipated, particularly with very cold temperatures in the northern districts and partly cloudy skies in the western districts within the upcoming 12 hours.

Fog and smog are likely to develop during morning hours in upper Sindh, the plains of Punjab, and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

This morning’s temperatures in major cities were as follows:

Islamabad at three degrees Celsius, Lahore at eight, Karachi at sixteen, Peshawar at five, Quetta at two, Gilgit at minus three, Murree at one, and Muzaffarabad at four degrees Celsius.

As per the weather forecast for the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula are expected to experience very cold and dry weather. Meanwhile, Jammu is forecasted to be cold, dry, and foggy.

This morning’s recorded temperatures were:

Srinagar, Shopian, and Baramula at minus two degrees Celsius, Jammu at eight, Leh at minus eight, and Pulwama and Anantnag at minus one degree Celsius.
