Weather Update: Widespread Chilly and Dry Conditions Expected Across Nation

ISLAMABAD: The upcoming twelve hours will predominantly bring cold and dry conditions across most regions of the country. Persistent dense fog and smog are anticipated in Islamabad, the plain areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.

This morning’s recorded temperatures in major cities are as follows: Islamabad at three degrees Celsius, Lahore at six, Karachi at seventeen, Peshawar at four, Quetta at minus-one, Gilgit at minus-four, Murree at one, and Muzaffarabad at two degrees Celsius.

Turning to the weather forecast for the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Shopian, Pulwama, and Baramulla are expected to experience very cold and dry weather, while Leh and Anantnag are forecasted to be partly cloudy and very cold. Jammu, on the other hand, is likely to witness cold temperatures accompanied by dense fog.

The morning temperatures recorded in these regions are as follows: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at minus-two degrees Celsius, Jammu at seven, Leh at minus-eleven, and Pulwama and Baramula at minus-three degrees Celsius.
