Progress, Survival lie in Development of Pakistan’s youth
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has inaugurated the Youth Development Initiatives to enhance skills of students across the country.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday evening, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said youth make up a major chunk of the country’s population and they will have to further expand these initiatives to equip young minds with modern education and skills. The Prime Minister said that Pakistan’s progress and survival lie in the development of country’s youth.
Several programs initiated
He said they initiated several programs, including Punjab Education Endowment Fund, Punjab Skill Development Programme, and free laptop scheme. These initiatives include 2,000 Internships for Young Engineers, 20 Under-Developed Districts Transformation Programme, 250 Mini Sports Complexes Initiative, Pakistan Innovation Fund, and 75 National Top Talent Scholarships Programme.
