ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to open the highly-anticipated National Information Technology seminar and unveil a series of cutting-edge IT projects in the nation’s capital, Islamabad today.
The core objective of this grand seminar is to foster synergy among all stakeholders, forging a united front in the pursuit of the shared vision to bolster IT exports. The event will witness the participation of leading IT enterprises, which will showcase their innovative products and services through captivating stalls, according to state media.
Among the key highlights of the seminar would be the unveiling of “Destination Pakistan,” an initiative that aims to project Pakistan as an emerging hub for technology and innovation. Additionally, the much-awaited “Tech Lift Boot Camp” will be introduced, designed to nurture and accelerate promising tech start-ups.
One of the pioneering initiatives to be announced at the event is the establishment of the “First Knowledge Park for Women” in the picturesque region of Azad Kashmir.
Adding to the grandeur of the occasion, the ceremony will be graced by the esteemed presence of Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, who will be the guest of honour.
