PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will distribute laptops among talented youth of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday and will also inaugurate Fata University Phase-1 during his scheduled visit to Peshawar.
According to a press release from the PM Office media wing, Fata University was the first in the newly combined areas to offer quality education to brilliant young people in these districts that met worldwide criteria.
During the previous Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) administration, the foundation for Fata University, which cost Rs. 1.5 billion to build, was laid. Along with speaking at a gathering, the prime minister would distribute laptops to deserving young people in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa as part of the Prime Minister Youth Programme. —APP
