SUKKUR: Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday performed the groundbreaking of the much-awaited Sukkur-Hyderabad (M-6) Motorway.
The premier directed to complete the 306-kilometer road network in 30 months only, which would be constructed through a public-private partnership.
All major cities to become connected with motorway after completion of M-6
Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said earlier in the day that after the construction of M-6, all major cities of Pakistan would be connected with the motorway network. The road network would provide modern, comfortable and faster travel facilities to the people of Pakistan, she said.
The minister added that completion of the project would also speed up business activities in the country and facilitate the delivery of products to traders, industrialists and farmers.
