ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday congratulated the newly appointed Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir, on the assumption of his responsibilities as Pakistan’s new army chief.
The prime minister telephoned General Asim Munir and said commanding the tremendous force of the Pakistan Army was a great honor.
The premier expressed confidence that General Asim Munir would further contribute towards strengthening Pakistan’s defense.
