ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has summoned the meeting of the federal cabinet tomorrow (Monday).
The meeting will review the political and economic situation of the country, according to the sources. On June 30, the PM said a three billion dollars stand-by agreement with the global lender will help in bringing economic stability and growth to the country.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, the PM said FM Dar and his team made tireless efforts to secure the IMF arrangement. He said the IMF Board will accord formal approval to the agreement in its meeting scheduled to be held on July 12.
He further said the ruling alliance will leave the government after the completion of tenure and added the election will be announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
