The tweet came as the country celebrated the golden jubilee of the 1973 Constitution. Pakistan’s Constitution, according to Prime Minister Sharif, “remains central to shaping the national character, identity, and future trajectory.” He referred to the 1973 Constitution as a sacred document that had weathered many storms over the previous 50 years while keeping the federation together. He stated that we owe the framers of the Constitution a debt of gratitude for their political foresight. — APP
