BEIJING: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday directed the authorities concerned to replicate Chinese health standards at Pakistan’s hospitals.
During a visit to Anzhen Hospital in Beijing, PM Sharif directed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to ensure the development of simple, robust, and sustainable infrastructure at the under-construction hospitals — including the Jinnah Medical Complex — to provide high-quality medical services.
The prime minister emphasised the need to prioritise top healthcare facilities in Pakistan’s hospitals on Chinese patterns.
During the tour of the hospital, he reviewed the facilities being provided at Anzhen Hospital and appreciated the effective system, modern technology, and efficient services being provided there.
The prime minister was given a detailed briefing on the available healthcare services, including advanced robotic systems for improved administration and other high-tech medical facilities.

He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with federal ministers Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Ahsan Iqbal, Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Attaullah Tarar.
