ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday paid rich tribute to Madr-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah on her birth anniversary, praising her significant contributions during the Pakistan Movement.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Prime Minister wrote, “As we commemorate the birth anniversary of Madr-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, we recall her invaluable contributions alongside our esteemed leader, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in the struggle for independence.”
He also lauded her role in promoting democracy in Pakistan. The PM said that Fatima Jinnah’s dedication to fostering democracy was both remarkable and inspirational. “She continues to be admired and beloved role model for all Pakistanis, incorporating the spirit of resilience and commitment. The lasting legacy she has left behind will continue to guide us forward,” he added.
