ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has paid tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his 45th death anniversary on Thursday.
The PM said in a statement that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto played a key role in promoting democratic traditions and democracy in Pakistan.
The PM said, “With the endeavors of ZAB, Pakistan got the 1973 constitution that garnered consensus among all political parties in the country.”
The Prime Minister emphasized that the recent ruling by the Supreme Court underscored the profound impact of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s political vision.
“In reaffirming Bhutto’s political legacy, the Supreme Court has acknowledged his significant contributions to advancing democracy and democratic values in Pakistan,” the Prime Minister stated.
