ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is scheduled to take part in several significant events this evening in New York, during which he will speak about Pakistan’s stance on climate change and development finance, as announced by the PM Office on Wednesday.
The prime minister will attend the Climate Ambition Summit at the United Nations Headquarters alongside the UN General Assembly session. During this summit, he will deliver a speech at a high-level meeting focused on ‘Prevention, Preparedness, and Response to Epidemic Diseases.’
Additionally, Kakar will provide insights during a high-level dialogue addressing Financing for Development. Furthermore, the prime minister has scheduled meetings with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Bill Gates, the Co-Chairman of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. —APP
