ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Shahid Afridi and other dignitaries and celebrities expressed their best wishes for the Pakistan cricket team against India in the Asia Cup encounter at the Palekelle International Cricket Stadium.

Former Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto also displayed his support for the men in green and hopes that the Pakistan cricket team would beat India in the Asia Cup.

Moreover, former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi also remained optimistic about Pakistan’s win against India. He also appreciated Shaheen Shah Afridi for dismissing the top Indian batters. He commended Shaheen’s brilliance, saying, “You beauty”.

On the other side, the Pakistani batters were waiting for their turn as, till last, reports intermittent rain interrupted the play.
In the Indian innings, Pakistani pacers managed to take all 10 wickets of the Indian team till the 49th over, where Shaheen Afridi took four, while Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf shared three wickets each to restrict India to 266 all out.
