ISLAMABAD: Retired Justice Arshad Hussain, caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, on Tuesday called on Interim Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar to discuss the administrative matters of the province and the upcoming general elections.
The prime minister highlighted the interim chief minister’s constitutional role in assisting Pakistan’s Election Commission to hold polls freely and fairly across the province.
He congratulated the chief minister on the assumption of his new office and expressed best wishes for his job. They also discussed the law and order situation of the province and the smuggling control. —APP
