ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Amjad Islam Amjad’s wife.
In a statement, the Prime Minister extended his condolences to the entire family of the late Amjad Islam Amjad. The Prime Minister prayed to Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family.
Amjad Islam Amjad was a popular poet and drama writer, who passed away in February last year in Lahore due to a sudden heart attack at the age of 78.
