ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the security forces for thwarting an attack on the Gwadar Port Authority Complex on Wednesday.
According to a statement, the PM said bravery and professional skills demonstrated by the security forces in countering attackers deserve high appreciation.
The Prime Minister expressed respect for the personnel of security forces, who laid down their lives in the operation against terrorists. He said brave sons of the nation, by sacrificing their lives in the fight against terrorists, are defending the integrity of Pakistan.
While, extending condolences and solidarity to the families of the martyrs, Shehbaz Sharif said the security forces’ timely and brave action resulting in the failure of the attack and eradication of the attackers are applaudable.
He said those targeting the peace of Gwadar, tried to disrupt economic progress of Pakistan and causing hardship on its people.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed the resolve that with the grace of Allah Almighty and the support of Pakistani nation, all internal and external conspiracies against Pakistan will be failed.
